The fourth quarter of 2021 saw significant activity in the Music and Audio app category on the Android platform in Turkey. Here, we take a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.

LMR - Copyleft Music from Lyubomir Hristov experienced a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $511 at the end of September and ending the quarter at around $391. Weekly downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at 125K in early December. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, consistently hovering around the 9.5M mark, despite a slight decrease from 9.7M at the beginning to 9.2M at the end of the quarter.

StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at $261 and reaching $1.0K by the end of December. Weekly downloads showed a similar trend, peaking at 131K in late November before a slight drop to 91K by year-end. Active users for this app grew significantly, from 87.6K at the start of the quarter to 223K by the end.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts also showed steady performance, with weekly downloads ranging from 39K to 62K. The number of active users saw a gradual increase, starting at 1.1M and reaching 1.2M by the end of December.

Lastly, Music Player & MP3 Player by InShot Inc. had weekly downloads that varied from 38K to 62K, with a noticeable peak in late December. Active users saw minor fluctuations, maintaining an average of around 2.5M throughout the quarter.
